Hatha yoga poses taught in a way to be achievable by any-body. Its a great place for a beginner to get started, a wonderful cruising speed into the golden years and really a lovely practice for anyone looking for the gentler side of yoga. Gentler doesn’t mean there wont be the opportunity for growth! We take our time in this class to learn proper alignment, safety considerations and fundamentals of yoga practice. This class is offered simultaneously in the Vallarta Breeze Yoga Puerto Vallarta Yoga Studio and on-line.


Hatha Flow

Hatha Flow in Action

Imagine stepping onto your mat, the world fading away as you enter a tranquil oasis of movement and breath. A Hatha Flow class is like a gentle dance, combining mindful poses with a focus on alignment and controlled breathing. Unlike Vinyasa, which emphasizes continuous movement flowing seamlessly with the breath and often values aesthetic fluidity, Hatha Flow shifts the focus inward. Here, what the practice looks like is secondary to the impact each movement has on your body and mind. Our poses are intentionally chosen for their effectiveness and purpose, encouraging you to prioritize how they feel rather than how they appear.

This class is perfect for anyone looking to build strength, flexibility, and balance in a steady, intentional way. You’ll flow through sequences that are accessible yet energizing, designed to leave you feeling refreshed, centered, and grounded. To deepen your practice, we will periodically break the flow to workshop poses, taking time to explore the mechanics and alignment of each posture, helping you refine your technique and understand your body’s unique needs.

Each class incorporates pranayama, or breathwork, to calm the mind and enhance your energy flow, as well as meditation to help you find stillness and tap into a profound sense of peace. These elements blend beautifully with the physical practice, making each session a complete journey of mind, body, and spirit.

Hatha Flow is an invitation to prioritize self-care, honor your body, and find serenity through deliberate, meaningful movement. It’s a sanctuary where breath guides motion, and every pose becomes a quiet celebration of inner harmony. Ready to flow with purpose and intention?


Fire and Ice

This special class is for the peaceful but powerful warrior within you!!

We ground and warm up (~15 min)

We work hard, flowing through Sun Salutations, Arm Balances, Yogi Pushups, Squats, Strength and Endurance Gains, Everything you’ve got!! (~20 min)

Then we will move into deep long stretches (~20 min)

Finally we balance out our energy and kick on the Parasympathetic nervous system with Pranayama and meditation (~10min) and we let it all sink in with a ~10 minute Savasana

All Levels Aerial Yoga – This class is great for people wanting to try out aerial yoga for the first time or folks that are just looking for a fun physical activity in our fabulous tropical oasis of a studio. This is a group class that is limited to 5 participants. We will explore warrior poses, inversions and a bit of strengthening. Class will be modified to suit the overall group. Relaxing Yin Yoga

This is the lighter side of yoga. Help yourself to a cup of tea then we’ll begin with a brief meditation, breath and stretching before settling in to long Yin poses. The emphasis of Yin yoga is stretch, release, inner exploration and coming down for the day. Expect long deep stretches with yin poses and the possibility of receiving Reiki during the session (Jai is a Reiki master) . ZenWave Sonic Immersion – Yin Yoga with Yoga Nidra

This experience is limited to just 8 participants, be sure to reserve well ahead of time. Picture yourself melting into the soothing postures of Yin Yoga, your breath guiding you in Pranayama, then your mind finding sanctuary in Yoga Nidra while being engulfed in the embrace of soothing soundscapes and the guidance of your instructor through headphones for a deeply immersive experience. Join us for this 90 minute session roughly 60minutes yin /30 minutes guided meditation. – Only et the Vallarta Breeze Yoga Puerto Vallarta Yoga Studio

  • Yoga Nidra: Often referred to as “yogic sleep,” is a guided meditation practice that brings you into the hypnogogic state, a state of deep relaxation while maintaining conscious awareness. Featured in “ZenWave

The gentle sounds of birds and wildlife provide a soothing backdrop, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the present moment. The studio is designed to be a peaceful haven where you can escape the stresses of everyday life and focus on your well-being. One of our students said it best when she said “You’ve really figured out paradise”, that’s our goal 🙏

Our skilled and compassionate instructors include Jai, an ERYT500 with over 2500 classes taught and extensive experience in various yoga disciplines and Victor Manuel, an RYT200 that brings a fun and fiery bilingual vibe to his classes. Each instructor is dedicated to providing personalized guidance and support, ensuring that you feel safe and confident in your practice. They are passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping you achieve your goals, whether you are looking to improve your flexibility, build strength, or find inner peace.

What to Expect in a Group Yoga Class at the Vallarta Breeze Yoga Puerto Vallarta Yoga Studio

Welcome | Protocol

At the Vallarta Breeze Yoga Puerto Vallarta Yoga Studio, we believe that yoga is for absolutely everyone. Our classes are designed to be inclusive and supportive, regardless of your experience level.

When you enter the studio, you will pay at the window to the left and then you will be asked to take a seat next to the garden, remove your shoes and silence your phone. If its your first class with us, either Victor Manuel or Jai will give you a tour of the studio and invite you to a complimentary tea on the Yogi Lounge sky deck while you wait for class to begin.

A few minutes before class we will all find a mat, everything is set up ahead of time with Manduka Pro Mat, blocks, strap and a yoga blanket all you need to do is pick a spot and make yourself comfortable. We will have our class and when its done, leave everything as it is and either make your way to the entry area to gather your things or if you will be staying for another class, head up to the Yogi Lounge sky deck to relax before the next class.
