Jai’s Journey and Expertise

Jai began practicing Yoga in 1999 while living and working at Breitenbush Hot Springs Retreat and Conference Center. Since 2018, he has taught daily classes in Puerto Vallarta and online since 2019, with more than 3,500 classes taught. He is an E‑RYT 500 Yoga Teacher/Trainer with Yoga Alliance and holds additional certifications in Yin Yoga, Pranayama, Yoga Nidra, Meditation, and Aerial Yoga.

In 2025, Jai expanded his professional scope by becoming a Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist through the International Sports Sciences Association. This allows him to support clients who want structured, intelligent strength training with the same precision and care he brings to Yoga.

His approach supports these priorities without ever limiting or labeling anyone. Clients in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s all feel equally seen, challenged, and supported.

He specializes in one‑on‑one work, where every session is tailored to the individual—your goals, your movement patterns, your pace.

Jai designs structured, progressive resistance‑training programs for clients who want to train with purpose and protect their long‑term mobility. Every session is:

Jai has a highly trained eye for muscle imbalance, scapular rhythm, and trapezius balance. He identifies dysfunctional patterns quickly and pivots seamlessly into corrective strategies when needed, addressing biomechanical issues the moment they appear. Clients build strength on a foundation of clean, efficient movement rather than compensation.

His programs are especially valuable for people who want to stay strong and active as they age. Jai’s Personal Interests

Jai is an animal lover through and through. Birds, iguanas, parrots, neighborhood dogs—all are part of his extended family. He shares his home with three big dogs and four cats, and he’s been known to pause class to admire a flock of parakeets or a group of macaws flying overhead.
